Maya Darwich
Maya Darwich is a Hamburg-based painter, born in Damascus, Syria in 1995. She works with mixed media and often deals with themes of trauma and feminity. A key element in her work is her use of herself as a model. Her work has been presented in several exhibitions in Damascus since her graduation from the University of Damascus, where she studied fine art until 2016.
