Azza Hussein (b.1981, Beirut, LB) is an illustrator and a visual artist working with performance, installation, painting, and any other media. Concealed anxieties, absurdity and political climates pervade her art practice. Her work obliquely and overtly references landscapes and displacement, a recurring interest. Azza obtained a Master of Arts in Computer Animation (2009) and a Master of Fine Arts in Painting (2005). She currently lives and works in Montreal.
