Alina Amer
Alina Amer a visual artist based in Berlin since 2015, works with different mediums such as mixed media, photography, and performance. Structures that lack logical functioning preoccupy her works. She also explores sewers and sewage systems, questioning our disillusions towards dirt and rituals of cleansing. Alina moved to Beirut in 2013 where she worked on several art programs. Further, after graduating from the faculty of architecture in Damascus in 2012, she became involved in theatre and performance practices.
