Milad Karamooz is an Iranian artist and photographer born in 1982. Self-taught, he works in conceptual staged photography and landscape, drawing on his experience as a minority in a traditional religious society. His work engages themes of social norms, patriarchy, and tradition, aiming to spark dialogue and reflection. He has exhibited internationally and received multiple awards. Karamooz has also explored NFT art, works in commercial and memorial photography and graphic design, and is the head of the A.BAY photo festival.
