In a quiet gallery space reminiscent of a building under construction, Confiscated Imaginaries presents a film (Abou Farid's War), a viewing apparatus (A Dubious Prototype), and a series of mosaics (Studies in Mosaics Series, Syria) that reflect on the politics of memory and the aesthetics of disaster in the aftermath of conflict and crisis in Syria.
