Nur Turkmani

Nur Turkmani is a writer from Beirut. She studied creative writing at Oxford University, and politics at the London School of Economics and the American University of Beirut. She has published fiction and poetry in The Missouri Review, Copper Nickel, The Rumpus, Poetry London, Columbia Journal, The Adroit Journal, and other places. Her essays appear in Evergreen Review, Al-Jumhuriya, Jadaliya, and Rusted Radishes. Her debut collection, October, was selected by Chen Chen for Purple Ink’s Poetry Contest
